Guest Teacher

LISA MAZZELLA a native of New York City, has worked in many areas of the media industry for over a decade. She holds a B.A. in English with minors in Cinema Studies and Spanish from Rutgers University (NJ); and an M.A. in Media Studies from The New School (NYC). She studied with cinema studies lecturer and experimental media artist Albert Gabriel Nigrin, who inspired her interest in experimental and music video. She was an intern at Late Night with Conan O’Brien, she worked in PR industry as an executive assistant at Orange Media Relations with clients: The Criterion Collection and Severin Films. Further she became focused on video production and directed, produced, and edited her own experimental and music videos. She edited a documentary, a short film, and created video content for video licensing site, She released a documentary Perfect Blend with Maya Milenovic Workman in 2012.
