Trisha Pierson Kelly began her ballet training in San Jose, California with Audrey King and Gloria Mohr. At Sarah Lawrence College she studied modern dance with Emily Devine, Sara Rudner and the late Viola Farber. She has studied Limon technique extensively with Gary Masters and Fred Mathews and was an in-school teaching artist for Limon West. Trisha has performed with Limon and Friends, Mary Carbonara Dances, Margaret Wingrove Dance Company, IsadoraNOW and Tikola McCree to name a few. She has been teaching for over 20 years and founded and directed a large dance program at Public School 85 in NYC where she worked for nearly a decade. Most recently Trisha taught ballet and modern at Performing Arts Workshop and The Movement Lab in north county San Diego and was a board member and teaching artist of Junior Ballet Ensemble, a not for profit dance outreach organization based in Encinitas, California.
