Our Teachers



An alumnus of The Barrow Group, Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute, and MADLOM. Not only a dedicated and working actor, dancer, musician, and filmmaker; Jesse has been teaching Acting since 2012 and is excited to add his techniques to the MADLOM experience.

Mike Barton was a theater major at the University of Oklahoma. There he was introduced to the power if live theater. Since that time he has acted and directed as a founding member of two repertory company’s and has contributed to many productions. He lives in Montclair and is a father of two.

KENDRA CULLEY is an actress who hails from Montclair New Jersey. She studied choreography, modern dance and drumming with MADLOM when she was 10 and 11 years old. She recently graduated with a BFA from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University where she spent a year abroad studying at Shakespeare’s Globe Theater in London. She strives to give back to the world of art everything it has given her during her life. Guest Teacher

Bridget Devine is a Clinical Social Worker who provides individual, family, and group counseling for all members of the adoption triad. She facilitates psycho-educational workshops on older child adoption, post adoption issues and general parenting. Her prior experience includes working for an international and domestic adoption agency as a Clinical Supervisor and Adoption Social Worker. Bridget holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from New York University and a Post Graduate Certificate in Adoption Therapy from Hunter College. She currently studying Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy with renown attachment specialist Dan Hughes. Bridget is also a ACPI certified Parent Coach guiding parents of teens as they negotiate the challenges of raising thoughtful, productive, emotionally connected young adults.

TOMOMI IMAI came to New York 2001.She performed as a soloist with several companies in Japan, which performances are sponsored by the Japanese Ministry of Culture. Her choreography has been presented at several theater in Tokyo and won second prizes at the Kita-Kiyushu and Asia national Modern Dance Competition, Akita Modern Dance Competition and grand prize at the the Matsudo Art society Competition. She dances with the Pi Dance Theater, Regina Larkin, The Dance Imprints , Maxine Steinman, HoffTanzt, and performed in “AGORA”. She taught at the Adeiphi University, the Peridance and teaches at the Montclair Academy of Dance and Laboratory of Music. She is master teaches of Pilates.

JON LUKS is a direct link with great traditions of rhythm TAP!
He appeared in numerous musicals and club acts such as: Kiss Me Kate, Damn Yankees, West Side story, Oklahoma, Grease, Guys and Dolls, Chicago, Hello Dolly and The Fantastics . As a teacher Jon’s focus is on helping the students cultivate a relationship with music, so the real dialogue is created between music and dance.
